News for the Parents of Saint Andrew Catholic School
October 24, 2017
FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Families,

What a busy month we have had! We have hosted many events and I greatly appreciate your support and attendance. September ended with our Garage Sale which more than doubled our goal in sales. Just two short weeks later, we hosted a thrilling Fall Festival with excellent attendance and record-breaking funds raised for our school. Finally, last Friday we enjoyed our parent-teacher conferences manifesting the partnership that is vital between school and family. This involvement of families is a hallmark of Catholic education. I appreciate the sacrifices each of you make to send your students to Saint Andrew and to be a part of these exciting events that bring our community together.

Only By His Grace,
Veronica D. Tucker

SAS REMEMBERS

Each year during the month of November, the Church offers us the opportunity to remember in a special way our deceased relatives and friends.

Saint Andrew Catholic School faculty & students would like to offer prayers for the deceased loved ones of our alumni, benefactors, friends and family members. We have opened an online form for you to indicate the names of your beloved deceased. Your loved ones will remembered at Saint Andrew Catholic School Masses, during weekly adoration throughout the month of November and during morning prayers.

HOLIDAY OUTREACH BOXES FOR THE FOOD PANTRY

What is Holiday Outreach?
Every year, our school participates in Holiday Outreach, a program allowing our Saint Andrew Catholic Church Food Pantry to provide those in need in our Saint Andrew Catholic Church and School family with food necessary for their Thanksgiving and Christmas meals.

How and when can I help?
Each homeroom is currently collecting non-perishable food items.  Parents, you should have received your sign-up sheet from your homeroom coordinator by now. Please consider donating a few items for your homeroom's boxes sometime between now and Friday,  Nov. 3rd.

If you and your family would also like to fill a box on your own, you can the find the small and large boxes, with the food lists attached, in the front office of the school. Box lists can also be found here.  If you decide to donate a small or large box, please be sure to use the boxes and lists provided by the school and turn in your boxes by Nov. 3rd.  We appreciate your support for this project.
