News for the Parents of Saint Andrew Catholic School
April 11, 2017
FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Families,

I hope you were able to enjoy the Passion performed by our 8th graders this past weekend as we entered into this holiest of weeks. What a phenomenal job they did in making the last hours of Christ come alive in our sanctuary.

A couple of weeks ago at our school Mass, Father John Mark asked the question, "How is your Lent going so far? If you had to give yourself a grade on your Lenten performance, what would it be?". I must admit that this question made me a little uncomfortable and it keeps resurfacing in my memory. What grade would I give myself? My attempt at no snacking didn't last long (maybe a D+). Other promises, such as increasing prayer and spiritual reading have gone well (maybe a B). As with every year as the Triduum approaches, I realize I could have done better - and I could have done worse. I find comfort in the fact that Christ's sacrifice for me is constant regardless of my successes or failures. I pray that each of you has a blessed Easter.

Only By His Grace,
Veronica Tucker
