MESSENGER OF DREAMS

Santa Ana is a culturally rich city and downtown has been designated as an arts
equity district V oices of young people are often left out in cultivating their own futures. This exhibit has been a foray into using art as investigation.  Messenger of Dreams is an opportunity for students to speak out and express their dream and to explore the question, " What does it mean to dream? "

35
SAUSD art educators have been working with students to help them visualize their dreams and create works of art which speak to issues that are relevant to their lives, incorporating symbolism and visual metaphor.

The exhibition will run in conjunction with Mexican sculptor, Jorge Marin's, year-long public art exhibition in downtown Santa Ana, entitled Wings of the City. Join our student artists, families, and community members on Saturday, May 5th, from 5:00-9:00 pm to celebrate the lives and dreams of Santa Ana's youth.
