MADISON ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL NOMINATED FOR NATIONAL LIFE CHANGER AWARD

Congratulations to Madison Elementary School Principal Lisa Solomon for being nominated for the 2017-2018 national LifeChanger of the Year award. Sponsored by the National Life Group Foundation, LifeChanger of the Year recognizes and rewards the very best K-12 educators and school district employees across the United States who are making a difference in the lives of students by exemplifying excellence, positive influence and leadership.

Solomon, who has been an educator for over 20 years, was nominated by her colleague, Robert Anguiano. "Although she works behind the scenes and does not seek recognition, it is evident that she is a unique individual who wakes up each and every morning and asks herself, 'What can I do to help someone today'," Anguiano said. "If we had more people like Ms. Solomon, the world would be a much better place."

Winners are announced via surprise award ceremonies held at their schools. The grand prize finalists will also be honored at a national awards ceremony in spring 2018 in Bermuda, where the Grand Prize Winner will be revealed.
