WIZARDS FOR WATER RAISE $5,000 FOR CLEAN WATER IN AFRICA

Wizards for Water, a group comprised of students and staff at Middle College High School, participated in the OC Half Marathon and raised $5,000 for clean water projects in Africa. Through their efforts, 50 children will be provided with clean water for the rest of their lives.

"Considering that Middle College does not have traditional athletic programs, our students running 13.1 miles is very impressive," said Micah Young, teacher and organizer. This is the third year the group has participated in the OC Half Marathon to raise money for such a worthy cause.
