Join us on the SB-12 OBC 2017 Ontario Tour
EnerQuality is teaming up with
OHBA, OBOA, local HBAs and select partners to take SB-12 workshops on the road in September and October.
Packed into a convenient half-day and with a special HBA & OBOA price in select markets, the experts will analyze changes to the new Ontario Building Code SB-12 Supplement that will require all new houses to reach higher performance levels of energy efficiency, effective this coming January 1, 2017.
The curriculum has been developed by Ontario Home Builders' Association and Ontario Building Officials' Association, and will be delivered by subject-matter experts Andy Oding, Gord Cooke, Ross Elliott and Doug Tarry and other special guests.
EnerQuality president Corey McBurney will be joining HBA members at their dinner meetings this Fall in Quinte, Waterloo, Peterborough, Simcoe, Hamilton and Stratford.
Corey will be speaking about ENERGY STAR® for New Homes and the new Ontario Building Code, and discussing how to stay ahead in the changing world of high performance home building.
EQ Congratulates Builders of First Labeled NZE/NZEr Homes
On July 25, 2016 the Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA) qualified five Net Zero Energy (NZE) homes built by Reid's Heritage Homes, and the first Net Zero Energy ready (NZEr) home built by Lucchetta Homes, under the Net Zero Energy Labelling Program Pilot.

OHBA announces 2016 Awards of Distinction finalists
Ontario Home Builders' Association (OHBA) is pleased to announce the finalists for its 2016 Awards of Distinction.
Judged by a panel of industry professionals from across Canada, the entries encompass 39 categories of building, design, sales and marketing with submissions from all over Ontario.
Winners of the OHBA Awards of Distinction will be announced on September 20th at the Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood.

Christephanie manages the Quality Assurance activities at EnerQuality (including the quality of snacks brought into the office!). She earned her degree in Applied Technology in Construction Science and Management at George Brown College, and continues to put her technical background to work in delivering EnerQuality's programs and working closely with our evaluators.
