First, we would like to thank
Ellen Greene, Executive Director of the
Old Colony YMCA, for, once again, hosting this event!
Making his second appearance with his wonderful Italian cooking is our good friend Mike Sammarco of Sons of Italy fame! Mike will be preparing for us his famous meatballs & sausages, and maybe another Italian treat, which will be served with bread and a salad!
The meeting will begin with some light networking at 5:30pm, followed by dinner to be served at 6:00pm. About 6:20 we will begin our presentation of the 2017 SCC Awards and CYGSG Certificates.
and you will be notified as to when it will appear
If you would like to request a certain month for your spotlight to appear
then let us know and we will do our best to make it happen!
531 Washington Street, Stoughton, MA
Stoughton True Value Hardware opened at 531 Washington Street in February 2016, with a goal of providing Stoughton residents local convenience, great customer service and fair pricing.
Mike Hatfield, a longtime entrepreneur, is the store's owner-operator. Mike has been an entrepreneur and small business owner for more than 30 years, recently moving into hardware after a having built and operated eight Domino's locations on the South Shore. Mike is dedicated to his family, which includes his wife and 4 adult children, the youngest of which, Ben, is an Assistant Manager at the store. Our general manager, Chris Maynard, has more than 12 years experience in retail home improvement following 20 years of service to our country as a member of the U.S. Navy.
Our full team cares about our customers and the Stoughton community. Whether we are talking to a do-it-yourselfer, a community partner or local contractors, our goal is to understand our customer's need and offer advice, solutions or simply help them navigate our store.
Products range from the expected hardware, tools, paint, lawn and garden supplies to the unique, like beekeeping and poultry feed and supplies. With a recent upgrade to our paint center, customers can explore hundreds of color choices, get inspired by others' ideas or take advantage of our color matching service. We also offer services like propane tank refills, key cutting or duplication and door or window screen repairs.
The 9,000 square-foot store carries more than 21,000 items and has many more available through their online catalog, with free ship-to-store service.
The True Value Company, founded in 1932, supplies products and services to over 4,400 independently owned hardware stores.
