SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EQUESTRIAN SPORTS ANNOUNCES 2017 AWARD RECIPIENTS
Redlands, Calif., December 5, 2017- Southern California Equestrian Sports (SCES) President David Kuhlman, announced today the 2017 SCES award winners as decided upon by the Board of Directors. “As an organization we are proud to recognize this year’s recipients on their dedication to the betterment of Equestrian Sports across the United States and Globe. Each of our 2017 award winners are very deserving, and we are proud to support them,” said Kuhlman.

SCES is proud to award a total of five thousand dollars in grants to this year’s recipients in recognition of their fundraising efforts and competitive success-Allison Springer (Awarded $2,750), Lauren Billys (Awarded $1,500) and Gina Miles (Awarded $750).

In addition to these monetary awards, aimed at facilitating SCES’s mission of understanding and assisting with the financial commitment it takes to compete at the highest levels of equestrian sports, SCES additionally takes pride in supporting organizers who make equestrian sports better for participants and all involved.

SCES congratulates the 2017 winners, and wishes them the best of luck in all future endeavors.

SCES will consider any equestrian or competition meeting the eligibility criteria, in any discipline that is nationally or internationally recognized, for grants. The seven FEI disciplines are Combined Driving, Dressage, Endurance, Eventing, Jumping, Reining, and Vaulting.
 
SCES has been granted a tax-exempt status under Section 501C3 of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are tax deductible at the maximum allowed by law and donations can be made on behalf of Southern California Equestrian Sports, Inc.
