Final Word from Dr. Smith

Is your god big enough?
  • If you have given up trying to break a bad habit, your god is too small.
  • If you still allow past sins to make you feel guilty, your god is too small.
  • If you think that your past is so bad that you cannot be forgiven, your god is too small.
  • If you have experienced a broken relationship which you think can never be healed, your god is too small.
  • If you think you cannot do what you have been called to do, your god is too small.
We all have issues that tend to hound us. We all experience the tough side of life and, at times, we may find ourselves crying out as the Psalmist did saying, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest," (Psalm 55:6) but in reality, we know that is not an option.

Three important points to ponder:
  1. God knows exactly the life you have.
  2. God will never allow you to go through something you cannot bear. (I Corinthians 10:13)
  3. Your God is big enough to walk with you through any and everything you will ever face.
An excellent book on this topic can be found at this website.
