Final Word from Dr. Smith
Yesterday, we celebrated with our seniors as they graduated from high school. We were honored to have Dr. David Hoag, President of Warner University, as our graduation speaker. Dr. Hoag is an avid cyclist, and used his cycling experience in his three point message which is applicable to all of us, especially to our students as they head out for the summer.
1. Guard your path:
Be careful about what path you take. Listen to the Lord and obey His Word every step of the way. If you drift, come back. If you stumble, get up. God has a path for you to take: Walk it!
"Narrow is the way that leads to eternal life." (Matthew 7:14)
In a multi-stage, team cycle race, the leader of the race after each stage is awarded a yellow jersey. The team then does all they can to protect the yellow jersey. The application is that we must protect what the Lord has blessed us with: family, friends, church, education, etc.
We (family, school, and church) are a team. God has brought us together for more than just education: we have shared in each other's lives; together, as family united in Christ, we can make a difference in this world.
Thank you for being a part of Master's Academy this year. On behalf of all the faculty and staff, I wish you and your family a restful and safe summer.
