The Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (JCMR) , the official journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR), has achieved a significant increase in its Impact Factor, a key indicator of the influence and scientific value of the journal. According to the 2015 ISI Journal Citation Reports, the Impact Factor for JCMR jumped to 5.752 -an increase of 21 percent over the 2014 impact factor of 4.719, and the highest Impact Factor in the journal's history. This ranks JCMR 4th out of 124 journals in the Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Medical Imaging category.
