Letter from the Director
Dear Friend,

I'm excited to be able to share with you the impact that your support has had on SCS' programs and services in 2017, which has in turn helped us reach more people in our LGBTQ communities.

Below you'll see a snippet of Kevin's story who started out at SCS as a client seeking substance use services, and has since grown into an incredible Peer Specialist with Project PEER, SCS' newest program focusing on PrEP assistance and helping folks navigate healthcare systems.

Thank you to all of our clients who continue to trust us with your care, our sister organizations who collaborate with us, and our donors and friends who have supported us, whether it's only been your first time or your fourth year. We are grateful you are with us, and we hope you enjoy reading through our 2017 Annual Report.

In Solidarity and Gratitude,
Ann McGettigan
Executive Director
2017 Annual Report
"I had to work for many years to come to terms with my gender and sexual identity, and it was SCS that really helped me come to terms with that in order to stay sober since it was these issues that drove my use."

Read Kevin's full story in our Annual Report and how they began their relationship at SCS as a client, and have since transitioned into being a Peer Specialist with Project PEER.

Support: Making a Difference
You probably know that your donation will help SCS continue to provide affordable mental health and addiction recovery counseling to the Seattle & King County LGBTQ community. But you may not know that SCS absorbs the cost of many other services such as providing crisis intervention, educational consultations & trainings, outreach and general community support. We are a safety net upon which our community relies when times are tough. Click below to make a direct donation today.
Your support truly makes a difference.
