Mobile App Making It Easier to Work Safe

Over the years, the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association (SCSA) has heard the same excuses when it comes to workplaces not following the Occupational Health and Safety legislation - "I didn't know."

"There really wasn't an excuse anymore to be able to say I couldn't get the information quickly and it's a real challenge on that end. But it also brings a lot of awareness to companies that this stuff is important, it's critical and that you've got a way to avoid having these fines or convictions," said Collin Pullar, president of the SCSA.  Read More

WCB 2018 Annual Rate Setting 
The Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board invites you to register for the 2018 Annual Rate Setting Information Sessions:
  • October 17 in Regina, Queensbury Centre
  • October 18 Saskatoon, Delta Bessborough Hotel
The Rate Setting sessions include information on:
  • the rate setting process, and a review of the enhanced rate model and transition,
  • the Experience Rating Program,
  • key factors that influence premium rates, and
  • WCB's preliminary premium rates for 2018.
