Innovative Titusville Tomorrow Project Seeks Input from Public
|
The City of Titusville is currently working on creating a vision to guide the city into the future through a project called Titusville Tomorrow. The project will help shape the 2018 Comprehensive Plan. Comprehensive Plans are used to help guide the growth and development of a community through goals, objectives, and policies.
With the help of a consulting firm, Titusville staff have held two public stakeholder workshops to provide the opportunity for citizens to put in feedback and help shape the vision.
TPO staff members were excited to have the opportunity to attend the November 2, 2017 Stakeholder Workshop Follow-up. The workshop highlighted an innovative, comprehensive, and public involvement heavy approach to planning for the future of the city. During the workshop, citizens were able to hear the results from the previous workshop, learn about the importance of placemaking, and provide feedback and comments on corridors within the city.
