NOTICE OF DATE CHANGE
 
Due to a scheduling conflict, we need to CHANGE THE DATE of the December meeting of the San Diego Inventors Forum.    Our next meeting will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018.
 
Meeting will be held at AMN Healthcare, 12400 High Bluff Drive, San Diego, CA 92130.  Networking begins at 6:30. Presentation begins at 7:00pm.
Last Month's Presentation Topic: The Idea Stage of Product Conception
Presentation, Worksheet and Brainstorming
We presented information on expanding your product concept. The presentation covered some general questions you should ask yourself about your concept and challenged you to expand your thinking.  We held our first break-out session while attendees worked together to complete an idea worksheet.
This Month's Presentation Topic: General Web and Patent Searches
You have an idea for a product.  However, before you invest too much time, effort and money, you should conduct some basic research.  Find out how to conduct basic searches to see what else may already be out there or how your idea (product) might compare (or improve upon) another existing product.  More importantly, learn how to protect yourself from becoming an infringer.   David Waller will present tips and tricks that will be tremendous time-savers for you.  We will include a break-out session so you can practice your searching techniques.
