Learn how to get funding and make things happen. SE Uplift has $23,018 available to fund impactful neighborhood and community organization projects. Join us at one of our November grant workshops to learn about project requirements and tips for writing a successful grant proposal. Get feedback on project ideas and network with others. TRENDS IN LAND USE
October Edition

As Portland continues to evolve, we face the difficult task of trying to accommodate new growth, while preserving the older buildings that make our city a special place. How do we balance new development with historic preservation? How do we decide what we should fight to keep and what we can let go of? These are challenging questions and to answer them, we first must understand how Portland designates its historic resources and what tools are in place to preserve them.

October Agenda

At this month's SE Uplift Board meeting we will discuss proposed zoning changes to the Central Eastside Industrial District, consider a response to City Council's decision regarding AirBnB, hear a request from the Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Association to support rezoning the Learning Gardens Lab site to open space, and more. SE Uplift board meetings are open to the public and interested community members are welcome to attend.
