Create A New Healthier Tradition  for Holidays Especially Valentine's Day
Forget the Chocolate,  Perfume
and Cologne  on Valentine's Day

By Cathy Harris, Non-GMO Health and Wellness Expert

Every year during holidays, as a Non-GMO Health and Wellness Coach and a Holistic and Natural Healer, I sit back and watch millions of people make the same mistake.

Stay Focused Especially During Holidays

Because of toxic GMO foods and the toxic environment in which we live, a large percentage of people today are only 30 days away from some type of catastrophic health event. Their actions around holidays, will either cause them to develop some type of "full-fledged" illness or disease, which they might never recover from, or their actions will keep sending them on a path to wellness. Only time will tell.

Valentine's Day is a time for giving gifts and making others feel special. However, most families should form a new tradition and that tradition should be -- "eliminate" chocolate, perfume and cologne as potential gifts for their significant others.

Forget the Chocolate

Forget the chocolate on Valentine's Day. Basically, if you eat chocolate, it contains "heavy metals." Don't listen to others when they tell you dark chocolate is good for you - it's not!!!

Chocolate is chocolate -- and many people are allergic to chocolate and that right there should tell you something. Every type of chocolate contains heavy metals, which can be detrimental to your kidneys.

In many communities, there has been an explosion of individuals going on kidney dialysis, especially for those individuals that work in coffee shops, because like chocolate, coffee also contains "heavy metals."

Because heavy metals are excreted from your body through your kidneys, too much heavy metals in your body can damage your kidneys.

Don't forget that dialysis centers, that are springing up in black neighborhoods all over the country, are owned by a group of doctors, in which they send their patients to -- in order to make money.

Many of these dialysis centers are so full, that many patients, especially in big cities, are having to drive 1 to 2 hours -- 3 days a week, in order to receive treatment on dialysis machines, which also can put heavy metals in your body.

And never elect to do dialysis treatments at your home, because 99.9 percent of the time, you will get an infection and die.  So this industry is part of the medical and pharmaceutical industry, which is "BIG BUSINESS."

So the botttomline is -- the media works alongside of the pharmaceutical industry to do nothing but keep you on medications, keep you eating chocolate, drinking coffee, and engaging in other bad habits, especially around holidays, so they can all earn a profit.

When a doctor tells you your kidneys are so bad that you can only drink 8 to 12 ounces of water a day, you won't just die from kidney failure but you will die from dehydration -- from a lack of water because the body is 70% water. Your brain -- itself  -- is 80% water -- so you need water to survive.

I know you might think a small amount of chocolate will be okay on this special day, Valentine's Day, that everyone will be celebrating but remember sweets can be "VERY ADDICTIVE." You might start a habit that you simply can't stop so it's always best to totally stay away from chocolate.

If you craze sweets then eat natural organic fruits but too many natural fruits can also contain too much sugar and cause your body to become "acidic," which will become a breeding ground for illnesses and diseases.

Many women crave chocolate during that time of the month and the reason for this is they lack magnesium.  Magnesium is a mineral that is important for normal bone structure in the body.

People get magnesium from their diet, but sometimes magnesium supplements are needed if magnesium levels are too low. Dietary intake of magnesium may be low, particularly among women.

Magnesium deficiency is also not uncommon among African Americans and the elderly. Low magnesium levels in the body have been linked to diseases such as osteoporosis, high blood pressure, clogged arteries, hereditary heart disease, diabetes, and stroke.

Forget the Perfume and Cologne

Perfume and cologne is also not just a "heavy metal" but a toxic poison that goes straight into your blood system and especially your brain.

The goal is to "GO NATURAL" and only use natural products such as olive oil and coconut oil on your skin. Even baby oil, cocoa butter lotion and vaseline
can be harmful for your skin and blood system. All of these contains "lanolin," which will not allow your skin to breathe. Your skin needs to breathe in order for you to be healthy.

If you really need to have some type of body scent, you can find natural fragrants in health and wholefood stores.  In order to have a healthy body, it should be your goal to "GO TOTALLY NATURAL" by eating natural, organic foods, and using natural body and cleaning products.

Once you "GO NATURAL,"   perfume or cologne, and even some essential oils, will cause allergic reactions so you might find yourself in an emergency room or worse.

Action Steps (Homework)
  • Pay attention to your habits around holidays.
  • Look at the gifts you will receive and give and ask yourself -- can your family make healthier choices?
  • Forget the chocolate.
  • Make sure you are getting enough magnesium in your diet or take a magnesium supplement along with calcium and Vitamin D3.
  • Forget the perfume and cologne.
  • Only use natural products on your skin such as olive oil or coconut oil.

What Do Single Women Need to Stop Telling Themselves
About Relationships?
No One Can Complete You...But You

Feb. 9, 2017

by Cathy Harris, Advice Columnist, DearCathy.com

Valentine's Day is a day that lovers, mates, partners,  significant others, husbands and wives celebrate being together.  It's also a day that they rejoice in their love and  affections for one another.

Enjoy the Single Life

But if you are alone or single on Valentine's Day, you should still celebrate yourself for who you are and where you are at in your particular life.

You should not be jealous of other couples celebrating their love for one another but instead be happy that your family, friends and others have found love, which is a rarity in these days and times.

However, we also learned years ago by watching Oprah.com, that many couples are not happy. Many couples fall out of love over the years, and others stay together for the sake of their children or for finances. Nothing in life is perfect -- so just be thankful for being in the space that you are in -- at this particular time in your life. Just make sure your space is "sacred," whether you are single or in a relationship.

I was "happily single" for years after a short marriage that   produced two gorgeous daughters.  And because I
worked in an abusive workplace for years just to be in a position to take care of my children, as a single mom, I wasn't a "good candidate" to be anyone's mate -- so during that time, I worked on my ownself.  All my attention had to go on the care of my 2 daughters and little did I know at that time, I was being used for a "higher purpose" -- " The Cathy Harris Story ."

Choose Family Over Relationships

My daughters grew up during the Ricki Lake  days, when women would choose  relationships over their children.
My children can never say that mom use to bring all those guys around them. Sure I dated and had fun, I just did not allow my daughters to see that.

As soon as they grew up and left home, then it was my time to do what I wanted to do with my life. My job as a mother was done. If you have not taught your kids what they need to know or do by age 18, then it's already too late.

Stop Waiting and Live Your Dreams

Single women need to stop saying that they are going to wait until they get married to travel the world or wait until they get married to buy their dream home and other luxuries of life -- that they truly desire.

If you truly desire to do these things, then don't wait. If you continue to wait for a mate to live your dreams, then you might not never live your dreams. And don't forget that many times, it will be your mate that will keep you from living your dreams.

But because you have lived your dreams, when your mate shows up in your life or if you meet him while you are out there living your dreams, you will be ready for him.

However, what you also need to understand is that sometimes it might be meant for you to travel this world alone -- without a mate. It does not mean that you are not worthy and that you are not living a "worthy life."

Fall in Love With Your Brains First

I have talked to tons of disgruntled, single women who have homes. They spend every dime they have on these big, lonely, empty, homes and can't do anything else but pay the mortgage, keep the lights on, and buy toxic GMO processed foods.

Instead, they need to sell these homes and
downsize (or get roommates) and get out there and eat good food and have fun. Be courageous and step out on your faith. When you get older, you especially need to downsize.

Stop being in love with things and fall in love with your brain first and eat good brain foods and take brain supplements, which will help you make better decisions in your life and bring more happiness in your life. So spend money on your insides -- instead of your outsides.

Once you fall in love with your brain, you will have more options and choices in your life. Happiness is an inside job and women need to stop making excuses why they can't buy organic foods and live the lives that they truly deserve.

Some women buy all these beautiful things around them then they have to cry themselves to sleep at night because they are all alone. They don't have anything else but a closet full of expensive clothes.

Turn Your Home Into a Learning Center

Some spend hours on the phone gossiping, criticizing and complaining or looking at TV, when their homes could literally become learning centers, where they can empower themselves and create " NEW LIVES" by reading books, listening to audiobooks, FREE teleseminars, FREE webinars, and youtube.com presentations.

You need to put all that sexual energy into something else - a hobby, a business or travel. I have had a  business for 12 years so it kept me busy.

My business was my companion so I answered only to my business and that's a good feeling -- to have something of value accompany you along the way.

Think "BIG"

You don't need to have a mate accompanying you. The man I am with now, I have known him for over 30 years and he probably should have been the father of my kids so I feel lucky that we found each other again.

However, I got with him two years after leaving the city I had lived in for 20 years -- Atlanta. Because I had spent a year on the  road doing what I really wanted to do and living my dreams, I was ready for him when he showed up in my life again.

Five years is a long time and I had dreamed about putting my belongings in storage and just getting on the road for about 5 years, but healthwise, I wasn't ready and if I had gotten with this man before then, I probably would never have been able to live my dream of traveling around the country for an entire year. And I did all this at age 57.

Most people think their lives are over with at 40 years of age. They think they are too old to get healthy, start a business or live their dreams.

At 40 years of age, you are a "PUP" or a "BABY."  Some people don't start successful businesses until 40, 50 or 60 years of age and they run these businesses until way in their 80s.

So at 30  years of age, you have 80% of your productive life  still ahead of you.  At 40 -- 60% of your productive life is left ahead of you and at 50, you have 40% -- and at 60 years old, you have 20% of your productive life STILL left ahead of you. Most people productive lives are from age 20 to 70 years of age, so get out there and live your life and THINK BIG .

Again, it was me, my business and my happiness that drove me to seek adventure and leave Atlanta. Take a chance in life because nothing is etched in stone, which means at any time, you can backtrack and take your life in another direction. Nothing or no one is stopping you.

But if you stay in your own little corner -- in your own little neighborhood -- in your own little city and your own little space, you might not never meet anyone or see the world - if that is the dream you have for yourself.

Whatever your dream is - the goal is to figure out your true purpose
and get out there and live it before you leave this earth. Do the things that you were truly put on this earth to do and have fun doing it.

Again, nothing is etched in stone in your life and no one can complete you - but you, which means only you can carve out the type of life that you truly want and deserve.

  • Enjoy being single and work on yourself.
  • Choose your 'immediate' family members over relationships.
  • Stop waiting and live your dreams.
  • Fall in love with your "brains" first.
  • Turn your home into a learning center.
  • Think "BIG."

What You Need to Know About Men,

Women and Relationships

Message from "The Essential Women's Movement for
African American Women"

Feb. 9, 2017

Hi Everyone:

This is our  Second and Third Action Steps since forming  "The Essential Women's Movement for African American Women."  Each week these e-newsletters will become shorter so we can free up time to hold weekly teleconference calls, write more articles and books, record videos, and set up other educational forums for you, etc.

But initially, we wanted to give you some great info so you can start learning and by all means -- remember these ACTION STEPS are CLASSROOMS  to share with your family and other people that you deeply care about so stop being selfish --- share this valuable information with others (family members, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc.).

Until we can move these classrooms into communities all over the country, we will continue this "virtual" training through weekly teleconference calls, e-newsletters, videos, webinars, and other educational forums.

The goal is for you to study the ACTION STEPS
and complete the homework assignments. If you do this weekly, just think of where you will be a year or two from now -- simply... because you did your homework.

Our ULTIMATE GOALS are for you to empower yourself, your family and the entire community -- so everyone -- can take control of their own lives as we form "Black Business Districts" throughout the U.S.

Please go back and read our original  press release and e-newsletter so you can fully understand what we are trying to accomplish.  Again, this movement is for African American women to come together and mentor an entire new generation of young geniuses, while we share information, uplift and empower each other.

New Phone Numbers for Weekly Teleconference Calls

Since several potential participants said they could not get through, I have changed the number to (712) 770-4715, Pin/Access Code 243460 The backup number is  (716) 293-9621,  for those with T-mobile, Metro PCS, Boost Mobile, etc. and other telephone carriers, who might have a hard time getting through.  The playback number is  (712) 770-4772 (hit #) , where you can listen each week after the teleconference call is finished, which again is a Mastermind/Think Tank/Classroom.

New Facebook.com Page for Movement

We have a new facebook.com  page , facebook.com
group  and a meetup.com  group , in order to gain more visibility for this movement.  So help us spread the word through "Word of Mouth."  However, still sign up for my mailing list -- so  we can get your business info for your "national viral campaign," that we will be launching for you throughout our network.

Classes are in Session.. .

Just one of our mottos for the new movement will be  " OneMillionClassrooms.com because we are preparing to teach, teach, teach in your homes, your family members and friend's homes, and in many communities nationwide. So get out your pen, paper and recording devices and prepare to learn.
