| Harvest update: Ontario grapes supreme
this year |
We've had lots of sunshine and little rain which
means the 2010 harvest
promises great things.
A long growing season with plenty of sun gives the grapes lots of
time to mature and build up their sugar levels; something that is
so important in wine production.
We are expecting elegant whites and bold reds from the Ontario
2010 harvest, from grapes picked at their absolute peak.
Especially exciting are the Ontario Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc varietals, which
have award-winning potential.
This year's harvest will be excellent in Italy and California as
well. We'll be bringing in a good selection of the best grapes for
you to try: Syrah, Nero d'Avola, Pinot Grigio and Cabernet
Sauvignon.

| Sponsorships:
We love polo |
Last
month, V1 was pleased to sponsor the
Toronto 2010 Lawyers Polo Cup in
Alliston, ON.
The tournament is held in conjunction with the International Bar Association's
annual conference. It brings lawyers and business people together
from around the globe to enjoy the competition, and share their
love of polo. Funds raised go towards select charities.
Polo is part of our Argentine culture (the first Cup was held in
Buenos Aires) so it was nice to have a little feel of home, here in
Ontario.
Dinner for the 150 guests was an Argentine BBQ we call Asado. As they are great when
paired with the grill, we served our Argentinian Malbec and Ontario
Chardonnay. Our thanks to Justin Fogerty and Eduardo
Bérèterbide for including V1 in this great event.
Check out the event video and for more info
on the organizers, see www.lawyerspolo.com.
