As we approach the busiest mail order months of the year, I wanted to talk about a couple of things that will get your order to you quicker and safer:
UPS v. Priority Mail: We offer both UPS and Priority Mail delivery for customers here in the US. We have a daily UPS pickup but usually process our Priority Mail shipments 2-3 times a week. When things bog down, that can slow to once a week or less. If you are in a hurry, we strongly suggest UPS Ground (or better) shipping on US orders.
Also, UPS orders are easier to track and in rare cases when there is a problem, they are far superior to the USPS when it comes to making things right. For International orders, our customers prefer Priority Mail for several reasons, usually related to cost, but we can send your order via any major carrier.
PayPal: We've been offering PayPal as a payment method for several years now. If you are using PayPal when ordering 'in stock' items, we request that you settle the transaction within 3 business days. If stocks are limited, we may not be able to hold your order past that time. If you need to make other arrangements, please contact us.
If you're using PayPal on an advance order - especially on an item with no firm delivery date - we will, of course, allow additional time for you to send funds.
Thanks. We'll be back next week with some great new (and some vintage) items!
