Dear Friends,

As summer draws to an end, the Mime Troupe continues to spread the good word, even as our instigator-in-chief enables white nationalists and scapegoats immigrants for the failures of unbridled capitalism.

You've got ten more chances to catch our current show, WALLS, which satirizes our inhumane immigration system, and has been derided by Breitbart News for being "a San Francisco musical about a criminal illegal alien lesbian with mental health issues who is in love with an immigration officer." Doesn't it sound like fun?

This Sunday, August 27, we'll be performing in Berkeley's Frances Willard Park, a mile and a half away from a planned white nationalist rally. We encourage you to come see WALLS that day as an uplifting alternative to the hatred and misinformation attempting to rear its head in our backyard. In these dark times, we must counter fear and foolishness with a fierce commitment to truth-telling and building alliances to overcome the forces of greed and their "alternative facts." We thank you for joining us in this fight.

In Solidarity,
The San Francisco Mime Troupe
