Mud Time Theater comes to 855 Treat!
Steve Friedman
and
Denny Partridge met in 1970 as fellow-members of the SFMT's first collective. They moved east together in 1976 and spent the next 30 years creating, performing and teaching popular theater in New York City and around the world. Since 2006 they've lived in Vermont, where they collaborate as Mud Time Theater.
On May 10 & 11 they'll bring two of their teeny two-person plays to the Mime Troupe studio:
MILDRED TAKEN CRAZY and
THE NINE QUESTIONS. They hope all their old pals and comrades, and anyone else
who's interested, will come and see what they've been reduced to. The two plays concern disturbing episodes from Vermont history; their style is epic minimalism.
Warning: The plays may upset young children, but are fine for a Mother's Day outing.
When: Sunday May 10th at 2.00pm & Monday May 11th @ 8.00p Where: 855 Treat Ave (limited street parking) Running time: 75 minutes Suggested Donation: $10 RSVP:[email protected] |
