Grounded in our varied faith traditions, we stand together in supporting an inclusive San Francisco. Housing affordability is not only an economic crisis in our city, but a shared moral and spiritual crisis. Having come together to house the homeless and to build more housing for essential workers in our city, we now call on our fellow citizens to join us in voting YES on Prop A, the $310 million housing bond. Supported unanimously by the Mayor and Board of Supervisors, along with affordable housing advocates, Prop A will not raise taxes, but it will require a super-majority to pass. We ask everyone to prayerfully consider and support this essential step toward a goal of 30,000 more affordable housing units by 2020.
