MARK YOUR CALENDARS - Vending in New Haven

Due to the explosion of interest in mobile vending in New Haven, the City has received an increasing number of complaints concerning the conduct of mobile vendors.

To address these concerns, City staff and external organizations (including Town Green) have worked for two years on City vending ordinance revisions that will resolve public safety issues; improve oversight; simplify vending rules; and balance competing interests fairly.

To learn more:
Attend an informational meeting with the City on Tuesday, October 11, 10AM at The Study, 1157 Chapel St.
Support the ordinance at the Legislative Committee Meeting, Thursday, November 10, 6:30PM, in the Aldermanic Chambers of City Hall.
