Gift cards on-the-go. To get started, you need to (1) download the Benefit Mobile App, (2) register your account by providing payment information, and then (3) select the SJA Teacher Appreciation Fund. It will take a few days for your registration to clear. But once you are registered, you have instant access! Shop - Snap - Upload - Earn. To get started, download the Shoparoo App and select SJA School. Shoparoo will donate to SJA when you shop at any store, snap a picture of your receipt, and use the app to upload it to Shoparoo. The upload takes mere seconds on your smart phone. MANNA GIFT CARDS

Sign up for a Target Red Card and select SJA School. In addition to a discount on your purchases, Target will donate 1% of your purchases to SJA. This adds up fast! You can apply at any Target store, or online by clicking here.

 BOX TOPS
SJA is always collecting Box Tops! Each Box Top earns ten cents for SJA, and it's wonderfully amazing to see how they add up. Be sure to clip all your Box Tops, and send them to school with your child.

All SJA Parents are welcome to attend the PSO Meetings, which are held at 7pm in the Teacher's Lounge on the second floor of the school.

"SALAD DAYS" ON TUESDAY JANUARY 13
The 4th Grade parents will bring "Salad Days" lunch on January 13 to SJA's dedicated teachers and staff. February 10 will be the 3rd Grade's turn.

TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCH ON WEDNESDAY JANUARY 28
The PSO needs lots of volunteers, as we host a special lunch for our incredible teachers and staff during Catholic Schools Week. We need volunteers to "substitute" for the teachers and staff during the lunch, to help with the actual lunch, and to provide certain items. Click here to volunteer. THE SJA ONLINE STORE IS OPEN

Breakfast with Santa was magical! Thanks to Annmarie Ey, Kim Gottschalk, and Pam MacPherson for organizing, to the many parent and student volunteers who helped set up and staff the breakfast, and to all those who came...including Santa!

The Christmas Luncheon was delightful. Thanks to the festive helper dads: Chris Cummins, Larkin Flanagan, Andy Forster, Ed Harris, Brad Holubar, Mike Inzitari, and A.J. Joseph; the PSO organizers: Jen Harris, Erika Joseph, Tamera Turner; and the Women's Club organizers: Megan Haughey, Missy Hebson and Karen Loveland; to all the bakers who donated scrumptious items; and to all those who came and enjoyed.

The Christmas Appeal was a big success. The PSO provided a great Christmas Bonus to our deserving teachers and school staff, as a token of our thanks for all that they do. Over 70% of School Families donated! Thank you, parents, for the generous donations.

VOLUNTEER WITH THE PSO
If you would like to be one of the organizers for one of the dozens of PSO events that take place through the 2015-16 school year, please contact Erika Joseph or any of the PSO Officers. It's a great way to meet other parents, and to get to know the school better. Plus, it's a truly needed service. The required PSO fundraising, and the fun PSO events, simply could not happen without the scores of volunteer parents. Thank you!

| Parents of 4-8th Grade Basketball Players are needed to sell concessions at the home games in order to help defray the Athletic Fees. | Thursday January 22 is an Eat-Out Fundraiser at Hub's which will benefit SJA's 8th Grade fund. Sunday January 25 & Friday January 30 are SJA School's Open Houses. Please help spread the word!

| Saturday February 28 is the SJA Women's Club's Gaelic Gala at Evanston Golf Club. Click here for more info. This event is our Parish's largest annual fundraiser. If you have not attended before or if you have questions, contact one of your Room Parents or Sarah Cummins about the details. If you're not sure who to sit with at the dinner, just list your children's grades on your response form and you will be assigned to a great table. In addition to enjoying a beautiful evening, you can buy Raffle Tickets and bid on Auction items. You also can sign up for your children's class parties (Thank You, Teachers!), as well as many other parties. It's a wonderful night for a wonderful cause. |
The PSO coordinates parental support through activities, social functions and fundraisers. The PSO is sponsoring dozens of events this year -- please participate! The PSO fundraising supplements the School Operating Budget as well as provides bonuses to SJA's dedicated teachers and staff.

Please review the left-hand column for easy ways to contribute to the Teacher Appreciation Fund. All proceeds from Benefit Mobile App (new!), Shoparoo App (new!), Manna Gift Cards, Target Red Card, and Box Tops go directly to the TAF.
