Gift cards on-the-go. To get started, you need to (1) download the Benefit Mobile App, (2) register your account by providing payment information, and then (3) select the SJA Teacher Appreciation Fund. It will take a few days for your registration to clear. But once you are registered, you have instant access! Shop - Snap - Upload - Earn. To get started, download the Shoparoo App and select SJA School. Shoparoo will donate to SJA when you shop at any store, snap a picture of your receipt, and use the app to upload it to Shoparoo. The upload takes mere seconds on your smart phone. Sign up for a Target Red Card and select SJA School. In addition to a discount on your purchases, Target will donate 1% of your purchases to SJA. This adds up fast! You can apply at any Target store, or online by clicking here.

SJA is always collecting Box Tops! Each Box Top earns ten cents for SJA, and it's wonderfully amazing to see how they add up. Be sure to clip all your Box Tops, and send them to school with your child.

THE BATTLE OF THE BOOKS' EPIC ENDING
- March 16 is the deadline for reading at least six of the assigned books.
- March 20 is the first Battle: 3rd & 4th graders at 1:00, 5th & 6th Graders at 1:30, and 7th & 8th Graders at 2:10.
- March 27 is the final Battle at 2:10.

"SALAD DAYS" ON TUESDAY MARCH 10
The 2nd Grade parents will bring "Salad Days" lunch on March 10 to SJA's dedicated teachers and staff. April 14 will be the 1st Grade's turn. Thanks to the Room Parents for organizing, and to all the parents for participating.

SPECIAL MONTHLY LUNCHES 
Pizza and Subway Days benefit the PSO, and Hot Dog Day benefits the 8th Grade. Thanks to Mary Pat Hickey and Tricia Kane for organizing these events every month. And thanks to 8th Grade Parents Mary Pat Hickey, Julie Lynk, Solita Murphy and Kelly Wagener for preparing the hot dogs.

GRAND PEOPLE DAY IS FRIDAY MAY 8. Students can invite their grandparents or other Grand People to a very special morning at school. SJA'S AMAZING CARNIVAL IS JUNE 4-7

Family Bingo Night was a big success. Thanks for all the families who came out and enjoyed the food, fun, Cake Walk, and Bingo. And thanks to Jen Bellis and Lisa Byrnes for organizing.

VOLUNTEER WITH THE PSO
If you would like to be one of the organizers for one of the dozens of PSO events that take place through the 2015-16 school year, please contact Erika Joseph or any of the PSO Officers. It's a great way to meet other parents, and to get to know the school better. Plus, it's a truly needed service. The required PSO fundraising, and the fun PSO events, simply could not happen without the scores of volunteer parents. Thank you!

| The Science Fair for 3-5th Grades is March 20. Students should arrive for their presentations at 5:30. Parents / families are welcome at 6:30. The award ceremony is at 7:15. |

| SJA Service Day will be April 17. Watch for more details, and please volunteer if at all possible. This is a very meaningful day for the Kindergarten - 8th Grade students, and the only way the day can happen is through lots of volunteers. The PSO coordinates parental support through activities, social functions and fundraisers. The PSO is sponsoring dozens of events this year -- please participate!
The PSO fundraising supplements the School Operating Budget as well as provides bonuses to SJA's dedicated teachers and staff.

Please review the left-hand column for easy ways to contribute to the Teacher Appreciation Fund. All proceeds from Benefit Mobile App (new!), Shoparoo App (new!), Manna Gift Cards, Target Red Card, and Box Tops go directly to the TAF.
