Dear Parents of Saint Joseph,
We are two weeks away from one of the most fantastic nights of the year, our annual auction, Dreams Take Flight. The auction is our largest fundraiser. It gives our students and faculty so many extras that we often take for granted like field trips, enrichment classes, and funds to support special projects or initiatives like our new Math series, our technology plans or even to enhance our sports program that provides very valuable non-textbook learning for our students.
FUN FACT: Our class field trips are funded with auction money. It costs more than $2000 for every bus we contract to escort our students. Two field trips a year, for every class in the school = $18,000!
Buses are the safest way to transport out students to valuable, outside learning. How wonderful, we can provide this with the funds that you raise and contribute.
Our school is blessed with a PTG that includes every one of our parents. When you register your child at SJES, included in the registration is a PTG fee. We have a PTG board that works tirelessly on your behalf. I encourage all families to roll up their sleeves and get involved in PTG and PTG activities. The first step is to buy your auction tickets and participate in the night. If you cannot attend, give your time and talents.
