Prayer For A New Bishop
Lord God,
from age to age you appoint
Shepherds to lead your Church.
Grant to our Diocese a Shepherd
after your own heart:
courageous, faithful,
and a humble servant.
May his witness to true holiness
inspire us to conform our lives
to the Gospel,
to seek our nourishment
in the power of the Sacraments,
and to become ever more
your Holy Church.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Lord our God, you formed us from the clay of the earth and breathed into us the spirit of life, but we turned from you and sinned. During this Lenten Season, we called out for your mercy. Bring us back to you and to the life your Son won for us by his death on the cross, for he lives and reigns forever and ever. AMEN.
Let Us Pray For
Your continued prayers, support, cooperation and dedication to Catholic education.
Your continued kind words toward each other.
We will list the names that you would like us to pray for in our monthly newsletters.
