Please Help Saint Jerome Regional School Keep Tuition Cost Affordable!

Throughout the year you will be receiving information about the various fundraisers through the school and the Home and School Association.  The reason we have fundraisers is to keep tuition costs down.  The actual cost of education of each child in our school is over $5000.00.  As you know, tuition is much less than this.  The fundraisers help us make Catholic Education available to more children.

We do not have mandatory fundraising at Saint Jerome Regional School because it is our hope that every family will do everything possible to support our efforts, not because they must, but because they want to participate and because they care about the future of this school.  Thanks for joining the effort for the sake of our children!

                                                            Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America was started in 1992 by Morill Worcester, the owner of Worcester Wreath in Harrington, Maine.  His plan was to honor Veterans who served our country one wreath at a time.

5th Grader, Angelo Greek, would like to invite the SJRS school community to participate in the "Wreaths Across America" project.  He and his family have been involved in the project for the past three years.  The wreaths serve as a tribute to our fallen heroes.

The Student Council would like to hold a dress down day to sponsor a wreath for Resurrection Cemetery in Wescosville, PA.  The dress down will be on November 11th and the cost is $1.00.  The wreath ceremony at Resurrection Cemetery will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 12:00 noon.  Thank you for your participation.

A prayer for the school community

Lord God, we thank you for all the children and for the schools they attend. Help us to make the most of the opportunities we have – to be hard-working students, to play creatively and to know that you delight in us when we seek to follow you.

Lord God, we thank you for teachers, classroom assistants and other people who work in and outside schools, for their enthusiasm, hard work and for all they invest in the children and young people they teach and help. Give us patience and concern for each individual pupil. Help us to make a positive difference in our school.

Lord, we thank you for the many people who enable schools to run smoothly and who provide a nurturing environment for our children. Help them to know their value and enjoy the work they do.

Lord God, we thank you for the education we have all received. Help us to support our school communities, both those who work and those who learn, and to pray regularly for our schools and for every life being shaped there.

We ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord.

          Amen
