News from Mrs. Sims

Happy Halloween!  Today was a day filled with parties and fun, but we can't forget about the fun we had last Friday at the Fall Festival. A big thanks goes out to all of you who planned, sponsored, worked and participated in the event. It was a wonderful evening, and a fun time was had by all.  Students earned Free Dress Mondays until the end of January by selling those raffle tickets, and Father Bill and I had pie for dessert!

Mrs. Martin and I are doing the first semester teacher observations at this time.  We plan to have them all completed by Thanksgiving.  It is a joy to be able to focus on the excellent and dedicated staff that we have at SMM.  The teachers are having fun exploring new ways to use technology to support student learning and engagement.  The students are enjoying this focus on technology as a tool for learning. Please take the time to thank your teachers for all they do to support your children.

May God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims

Congratulations to Mrs. Donna Laemmle, our KL kindergarten teacher, who has been recognized for the 2nd time as a Nationally Board Certified teacher. We applaud her for this accomplishment!
