Who's up for Archery?!

It's one of the hottest sports around and SMM wants to be a part of the fun!  From increased coordination, discipline and balance...there is much to gain from being a part  of this exciting sport!

The SMM Athletics Ministry is hoping to add archery to our program but first we need to know  how many 4-8th graders are interested. If you are...please send an email ASAP to  Chris Schneidtmiller

We need parent volunteers to help with the program and coach, too.
It's that time again to put on your goggles and hit the water.

News from Mrs. Sims

"Happiness isn't about getting what you want
all the time.  It's about loving what you have and being grateful for it."

Let us all be grateful to God for our many gifts!  We are thankful for so many things here at St. Margaret Mary School. Our children are blessed with dedicated and talented teachers, interested and involved parents, and numerous resources and opportunities. We have a strong and vital parish community, an excellent and thriving school, loving families and supportive friends.
I am especially grateful this week for Mrs. Moth and all who have helped her make "Elf, Jr." come alive with the 6th grade musical. The play is a treat with beautiful costumes and sets and of course, our talented 6th graders. So much work goes into a production like this. The children work together to create something special and magical. We are all so proud of them!
My prayer for all of you as you get ready for Thanksgiving is that you are able to take time with your families and friends to celebrate God's blessings. Cultivate the habit of being grateful this season.

May God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims

  • The 2nd Sunday of Advent symbolizes Faith with the "Bethlehem Candle" reminding us of Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem.
  • The 3rd Sunday of Advent symbolizes Joy with the "Shepherd's Candle" reminding us of the Joy the world experienced at the coming birth of Jesus.
  • The 4th Sunday of Advent symbolizes Peace with the "Angel's Candle" reminding us of the message of the angels: "Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men."
