Child-Centered Events

Just a friendly reminder, per archdiocesan and parish policies, no alcohol is permitted at child-centered events. Please keep this in mind when planning for events such as the Father/Daughter Dance and the Mom Prom. Failure to adhere to policy could result in the event being cancelled in the future. Thank you for your cooperation.

DivorceCare for Kids is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. At our weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents.  Additionally, DivorceCare for Kids, provides a safe, fun place where your children will learn to understand their feelings, express their emotions appropriately, feel better about themselves and develop coping skills. News from Mrs. Sims

"Faith is taking the first step, even when you don't see the whole staircase."   Martin Luther King, Jr.

We honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on Monday, Jan.16th because of his importance to our nation's history. Reverend King believed in civil rights for all Americans, and he used Gospel values to teach about social justice. He taught that education was not limited to academics, but must also include character development. I am proud to say that St. Margaret Mary School does an excellent job of teaching academics through, and with, Christ's teachings. Thank you for helping us to instill the morals and values that make great citizens.
Please don't forget to turn in your stewardship intention cards to the parish. We use this very important information as we budget for the next school year. Also, re-enrollment for the 2017-18 school year is in full swing. We look forward to planning for your children and the incoming Kindergarten and Jr K students. Please call the school office if you have any questions.

May God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims
