We are thrilled with the wonderful support of our Mustang families.

Helping Hands is a meal packaging program created by Catholic Relief Service. Volunteers package meals to be sent to Burkina Faso, Africa. SMM's goal is to package 35,000 meals on March 25th. To do this
SMM needs to raise funds to pay for the meals. Each meal is only .50 cents; a $20 donation will buy 40 Meals!

Please  click here   to donate or sign up your family to volunteer to package meals on March 25th.

All ages are welcome and encouraged!

 Donations Still Being Accepted!
Jump Rope for Heart

Our Mustangs had a great time Jumping Rope for Heart to benefit the American Heart Association on Thursday!

We wanted you to know that all donations that are not designated in honor of someone specifically, will be donated in memory of SMM's favorite DJ - John Tobias.  John was incredibly generous in donating his DJ services to our school for Field Day, the Fall Festival, the Mom Prom, and the parish's Helping Hands event, to name a few. He always said yes and was planning to DJ our Jump Rope for Heart this morning.

We will continue to accept donations for our Jump Rope for Heart event for another week. You may send in a donation or donate online by clicking here.

News from Mrs. Sims

The weeks of March 6th through March 17th are the Terra Nova testing weeks set aside by the archdiocese.  The teachers and I appreciate the effort you will make to help ensure that the students are ready, willing, and able to test to the best of their ability.  Here are some things that parents can do:
  • Students need a good night's sleep
  • They need to eat a healthy, protein filled breakfast
  • Please schedule doctor appointments for the afternoon only
We will test each morning so that students are at their best.  We will provide students with gum, mints, and stretch breaks to keep them focused.  Please send in healthy snacks and water bottles.  Let's do our best and stay Mustang proud!

May God Bless You and Your Children,
Wendy Sims
