News from Mrs. Sims
The students and teachers in grades 3 through 7 have been busy this week with our Terra Nova testing. They are working hard to stay positive and give their best effort. It can be stressful, but also exciting, to "show what you know" in this type of format. Please continue to build your children up and help them stay focused for the second week of testing. Test scores not only give us valuable information about our students' abilities and needs, but they also give us an objective measure of our school's academic program.
On another note, we are saying a short and special prayer each afternoon during the season of lent. Please take a moment to pray with, and for us, using this prayer.
Lord, in these days of mercy, make us quiet and prayerful;
In these days of challenge, make us stronger in you;
In these days of emptiness, take possession of us;
In these days of waiting, open our hearts to the mystery of your cross.
Wishing you a blessed Lenten season,
Wendy Sims, Principal
Voting closes Sunday, March 12th at 11:59 pm.
