News from Mrs. Sims

We have Spring Fever at St. Margaret Mary School! The students have finished up their Terra Nova testing and are looking forward to the upcoming Spring Break. We need our parent partners to help the students stay as focused as possible on their studies and positive school behaviors. Children need help with managing their time effectively and scheduling in work as well as fun. We really appreciate those parents who support, respect and promote our school mission each day. Your commitment to the school and your children makes SMM stronger and better.

You can help us by reminding your children that the expectations for appropriate behavior extends to all school sponsored and parish sponsored events. This includes athletic competitions, drama productions, field trips, fish frys, sacramental services and anything else that takes place on parish property or where they represent the school and parish.

May God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims

For a
WONDERFUL Staff Appreciation Week

Our SMM Families and PTO are the best! Thank you for the delicious breakfast on Monday, the warm coffee and muffins on Tuesday, the giant Kizito Cookie, fabulous Mustang umbrella,
and the amazing luncheon catered by BJs on Thursday. The generosity of our families in providing the amazing raffle prizes that we each received today was overwhelming! Our school community is the BEST!
Parents,

We would like to thank you for so graciously giving to the Jump Rope for Heart event. The donations that weren't pledged for a specific person will be donated in the memory of our Parishioner, John Tobias, who was our resident DJ at field days for many years.
Our final total was $12,637.50.

I know that your children are very excited about the
bonuses and  prizes that were earned for their donations and are inquiring when they will arrive. They will be distributed during PE class after  spring break. Orders take up to four weeks to arrive so thanks for your patience.
