News from Mrs. Sims

We are very happy that SMM will celebrate Grandparents' Day on Tuesday Sept.6th and Thursday Sept. 8th.  All grades will participate in the celebration.  Students with last names that begin A-K will attend mass with their grandparents on Tuesday, and last names L-Z will attend on Thursday.  There will be a continental breakfast for grandparents held in the Hospitality Room from 8:30 to 9:15 each day.  As you can imagine, this is very exciting for the children, and it takes a lot of volunteers to make it happen.  The grandparents that visit each year bring such joy to our young students!  The unconditional love and support that grandparents show their grandchildren is a definite gift from God.  We are so blessed that the grandparents at SMM support our school in so many ways.  Thank you to our PTO for making this happen each year.

We'd love for our grandparents to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram. They are also welcome to receive a school newsletter each week. Just send us the email address, and we'd be glad to share our school happenings with them each week!

May God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims
