To Mrs. Sims and all SMM families,

This past Monday, SMM hosted a Free Dress Day to benefit my Eagle Scout Service Project in which I will be building cabinets and shelves for St. Joseph's Children's Home.  Thanks to your generosity, we raised $538.73!  I am very thankful to each person who donated. I am especially thankful to the SMM staff members who helped me put this fundraiser together. Please note that any unused funds will be given directly to St. Joe's upon the completion of my project.

Thank you,
Alex Duvall

News from Mrs. Sims

Please join me in congratulating, and praying for, our second grade students who will experience their First Eucharist this Saturday. It is definitely a joyous occasion for their families! The students have been preparing for this all year and are so excited to be able to partake in the Eucharist as they see many of us do.

We also must congratulate our Jr. High students who took part in the production of Aladdin, Jr.  If you haven't already seen the play, it's one that you don't want to miss. We are so blessed by the talent and enthusiasm of our students!  A big thanks goes out to Mrs. Moth and all of the other adults who assisted in making this show a success.

Lastly, thank you to our wonderful and supportive PTO. They agreed to support an informative initiative for parents regarding safe internet usage for students.  We will have access to the parent videos for a full year.  The link will reside on our website under Parent Resources, but you can also access it here.

God Bless You,
Wendy Sims, Principal
