"Business in Europe"
 
SOBA Trip, 2014

Students interested in the next SOBA study abroad trip may apply now for "Business in Europe taking place at the end of Spring, 2014. The eleven day trip includes destinations in German, Belgium and England. The trip dates are Saturday

 May 24th thru Tuesday June 3rd. Students are required to make a $300.00 refundable* deposit to ensure their space. There is a cap on the number of participants; serious interests should apply soon.

Multiple SOBA Spring courses will be associated with the trip and. students must take a minimum of six associated credit hours to qualify for the travel subsidy. The total out of pocket cost is expected to be less than $1500.00 after the subsidy application.

The trip will take place over the span of eleven days and the cost includes: roundtrip airfare, hotel rooms (shared with another student), breakfasts, tour guides, related activities, and transportation in all countries (with the exception of student free time on the subway/Tube transportation).

Tentative visits may include: European Central Bank, Bank of England, Global HQ of Deutsche Bank, German Stock Exchange, European Parliament/Council of Europe, NATO HQ, a Belgian Brewery and possibly the EU HQ of PWC or another Big Four firm (E&Y, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG).
