Counseling non-locals through Skype, or those living internationally, is another way we can serve Church Partnerships by meeting the needs of missionaries who may be struggling emotionally with nobody to offer hope.
Listen for our ad on WDAC. I continue to encounter people who think FRCC closed when the Houston Run property was purchased by Shady Maple's Weaver Family. It is time to make a public proclamation that we are still ministering.
We welcome our new counselor, John Perez, to FRCC. John believes God has called him to serve here. He will work out of the Lancaster Office for now. He is bi-lingual and is skilled to serve many different counseling needs ranging from childhood through adults.
There are several good Christian clinical, therapeutic counseling agencies in Lancaster and Chester counties. A former client and successful businessman explained to me, from his perspective, FRCC's uniqueness. He has sought the wisdom of Christian counselors over the years and said that his FRCC counselor asked if he could pray to begin the session, and then, at times through Scripture, shared God's perspective of an issue. He said that his past experiences were that the counselor would wait until he broached the subject of religion and then would comply; but at FRCC, it was a given. That was the foundation Jonas laid over 25 years ago, and God is still honoring that method of counseling here today because faith comes by hearing the Word of God and without faith it is impossible to please Him.
Last month I encouraged you to consider a $10 recurring monthly donation to FRCC. If you would like to make a one-time or recurring monthly donation of any amount to FRCC please click here Contribute Now!
If you are at a place in your life where you would like to volunteer for a Christ-centered agency, please call me personally.
