ARNOVA Webinar: How to Be a Productive Early Scholar (summer edition)

This webinar from the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) will address best practices for being productive as an early scholar in the nonprofit sector. It is geared specifically toward PhD students and junior faculty and will focus on productivity related to the following: writing the dissertation; preparing for the academic job market; and publishing in scholarly journals. Office of Revenue and Economic Analysis
The New Jersey Department of the Treasury's Office of the Chief Economist (OCE) and Office of Revenue and Economic Analysis (OREA) seek a Policy Analyst who will support and contribute to the analytical work of the office. OCE/OREA support the State Treasurer by forecasting the economy and state revenues, producing fiscal impact analyses of current and proposed policies and performing other analyses in support of state government.

Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ) Scholarship
EWNJ has granted over a million dollars in scholarships in increments of $5,000 to nontraditional female students attending New Jersey institutions of higher learning who are pursuing graduate level degrees. The open application process ends April 29 . Students still need FAFSA, transcripts and recommendation letters as part of the application process.

Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) Survey
You should have already received an email seeking your input about your student experience at Rutgers University-Newark called the Student Experience in the Research University (SERU) survey. The data collected from the survey will be shared at multiple levels across Rutgers, including with President Barchi and the Board of Governors and will be instrumental in helping RU-N and SPAA identify what is working well and what needs to be improved from your perspective.
 
The survey, which can be found at surveys.rutgers.edu/seru, will be open through April 29, 2016. Prizes will be awarded throughout the survey period.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) 2-Day Certificate Program
The Institute for Ethical Leadership, in partnership with the Governance & Accountability Institute, Inc., offers a two-day, deep dive into Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the related fields of philanthropy, sustainability, risk management, and ethics. The CSR function can be located in various parts of the corporation, from philanthropy, to corporate sponsorship, sustainability, and sometimes directly in the chairman's office. Titles for those responsible for the function likewise are diverse. Program presented Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28, 2016, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Institute for Ethical Leadership, Rutgers Business School, Newark, NJ.
