 Announcing "Experience the Tank" Marbling Classes

For those who would like to discover the joys of marbling (and who wouldn't?!) -without the hassle of prep, set up, and shopping for materials (and who wouldn't?!)-this class is for you! Everything will be provided. Just show up and have fun!
My "Experience the Tank" marbling class is designed for beginners interested in learning the very basics about the ancient art form of floating paint on thickened water. In this 3.5-hour session, you will learn how to make four foundation patterns (which are the gateway to nearly a hundred more) as well as another three to five more advanced patterns. You will marble primarily in a medium-size tank (11 x 14 in) and also have time to work in a large tank (20 x 25 in). A variety of paper colors, weights, and sizes will be supplied and by the end of the class, you will have 15-25 marbled pieces to take home and use for bookbinding, card making, scrapbooking, framing, and more.
Join me in my South Pasadena studio to explore colors, learn traditional patterns, and experiment with your own designs. Classes are limited to six people so you will get lots of personal attention from me. The cost is $85 with no additional materials fee!
All classes run from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the following days:
