The South Pasadena Arts Council (SPARC) will be hosting free events at the Fremont Centre Theatre as part of the Eclectic Music Festival.

 

The event starts at 2pm with a terrific lineup of eclectic music & spoken word performances.

Join us for a no host beer & wine garden, and SPARC's popular Giant Easels will be set up in front of the theatre for the community to paint & create!

Grondle
 
Can rock get better with age?  Hell yes! We're Grondle. Cheese and wine wish they had it this good!  PS. Have you tried the haggis? 

 

3pm  The Ringers - Transistorized summer bedroom window music. The sound of sprinklers, stingrays, and smog alerts. The pure pop of America goes crazy.

 

4:15pm  
Tisa Adamson & Friends
 
- Tisa Adamson has been playing guitar for about 20 years. Introspective indie folk-rock with a bittersweet edge. She's opened for Romeo Void, X, Motels, Fear and played as part of a duo with Che Zuro for 15 years

 

5:15pm  Nuvein Foundation for Arts & Literature - 
Visions and Voices of the Valley II: The cultural landscape of LA poetry. 

 

6:30pm  MiLO  - Nordic melancholy progressions with pop melodies, unique odd meter beats, vintage Blue Note era vocals and gritty arrangements.

 

7:45pm  The Skylarks  - American Music straight out of our garage in Northeast LA.

 

9pm 
Gary Stockdale
 
-  A 2-time EMMY-nominated composer, Gary has composed music for television shows including 8 seasons of Showtime's award-winning Penn & Teller: BULLSHIT!  He also wrote music for The Aristocrats, by Penn Jillette and Paul Provenza.
