Faith Feature
Door Closes, Mercy Continues
With the close of the liturgical year on the Solemnity of Christ the King ( Nov. 20 ), the  Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy  year also ends. This coming  Sunday, Nov. 13 , the Jubilee Doors in each diocese will close. The Jubilee Door at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome will close on  Nov. 20

Students, faculty, and other members of the St. Paul community have made a pilgrimage through the Jubilee Door at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford to obtain the  Plenary Indulgence for themselves or a deceased loved one during this year.

In their Summer Learning Experience reading, writing, and discussion, St. Paul students reflected on how to live the  spiritual and corporal works of mercy   and how to be the "Church of Mercy" which Pope Francis emphasizes.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended our 50th Anniversary Gala.
We would also like to thank our sponsors for the evening!

50th Anniversary Capital Campaign
"Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future"

Campaign Surpasses $1,000,000 Mark!

THANK YOU to those who have donated to the St. Paul 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign to date.  Following our successful 50th Anniversary Gala at the Aqua Turf Club on October 22nd, the campaign has now raised $1,002,433 in pledges and gifts.

Our goal is to raise $2 million to establish a sustainable endowment, improve building security, enhance classroom technology, and upgrade athletic/performing arts facilities on campus.

As we celebrate this important anniversary, it is an opportunity for us to invest in the school's future, just as our founders did 50 years ago.  It is our turn to step up to the challenge to break new ground and help the spirit continue to grow for future generations.  If you haven't already, please consider making a gift to the 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign by returning the pledge form (click here) or visiting www.spchs.com .

Together, we share our vision to be a truly great Catholic high school!

Haiti Initiative

Fundraising Reaches $50,000 during
50th Anniversary Year

In September 2011, St. Paul initiated a community-wide outreach effort to reach beyond ourselves in the true spirit of our faith to bring improved health and comfort to some of the poorest people in the western hemisphere.
We are thrilled to announce that we have now raised $50,009 during the last five years through student fundraisers, monthly Mass collections, coin jugs, etc. in support of this Haitian initiative.

Working with the Haitian Health Foundation, we have helped to build two concrete houses in the Makandal slum of Jeremie, Haiti.  The last several years, we have assisted the hot lunch program for the nearly 1,000 students in grades K-9 at the St. Pierre School in Jeremie. Recently, $4,000 was sent to assist the relief efforts in the Jeremie area as a result of the devastation caused in October by Hurricane Matthew.  Several students, parents and alums have travelled on life-changing summer mission trips with Haiti 180 to volunteer at a local orphanage.

"... whatever you did for one of the least of my brothers, you did it to me."
