St. Paul Respects Life
October is " Respect Life Month" for Catholics in the United States. Coinciding with a month dedicated to the rosary and the 40 Days for Life Campaign, the   Annual Archdiocesan Respect Life Mass took place at the Cathedral of St. Joseph on Sunday, October 8. Archbishop Blair preached on the dignity of all human life and spoke in particular about Pope Francis' call for us to " Share the Journey" with migrants and refugees.

During the Mass, St. Paul President, Cary Dupont '72 received the St. Gianna Beretta Molla Medal award for his leadership in promoting a culture of life at St. Paul Catholic High School. We thank Mr. Dupont for his witness and support!

The annual Mass is dedicated to those devoted to expanding the culture of life. Parishioners from across the archdiocese came together to pray for the global recognition of life from conception to natural death. Those who play an instrumental role in advocating for life throughout the year were recognized with the St. Gianna Beretta Molla Medal. Parish and regional pro-life committee members also received a blessed candle from the archdiocesan Pro-Life Ministry.

In addition to Mr. Dupont, we would like to congratulate the other three recipients of the  Gianna Beretta Molla Medal. Mike Ferrara, volunteer at St. Gianna's Pregnancy Center in New Haven; Rev. Robert Landback, board member of the St. Gianna Pregnancy Resource Center; and Mary Lou Peters, founder of the "40 Days for Life" chapter in the Archdiocese of Hartford
Students from St. Paul attended the Mass and are photographed here with Mr. Dupont and Archbishop Blair!

This s

The spirit of St. Paul lives within these individuals and was proudly displayed through their combined 40 plus years of dedicated service in our early years through the late eighty's. Their continued support of our mission, values and dreams for the future truly make them Forever Falcons and we invite you to join us for this spectacular evening recognizing these outstanding individuals and celebrating St. Paul.

"The 4th Quarter Fast Break" is in full swing!

The next phase of our 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign is in full swing. There are two critical objectives which remain in order to reach our capital campaign project goals.

1) Replace the 50-year old gymnasium floor and bleachers

2) Establish a meaningful endowment fund,
creating a solid foundation for the next 50 years.

In order to complete the gymnasium renovations next summer and significantly enhance our endowment fund we are asking our friends of St. Paul to consider contributing to the 4th Quarter Fast Break phase. To contribute now, please click HERE.

If you would like to discuss your gift to the 4th Quarter Fast Break, please contact Mr. Cary Dupont '72, President at 860.584.0911. If you have already given, we sincerely thank you and ask you to consider adding to your gift.

Thanks to the generosity of the numerous campaign donors (listed here), we are happy to announce that we have already raised over $1.25 million and completed a major portion of our capital campaign projects!   God bless you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
