Archbishop Blair Calls Hartford to Evangelization
In a videotaped homily distributed to all parishes in the Hartford Archdiocese this past weekend, Archbishop Leonard Blair invited all the faithful to more active participation in missionary discipleship.

Entitled simply "Evangelization," the Archbishop's homily noted the challenges of the contemporary Christian landscape, especially in our region, and asked, "Do we feel any responsibility for bringing people Christ and His Church?" The Archbishop gave reasons for hope and encouraged us to move "from maintenance to mission."

Acknowledging that this time of transformation in the Archdiocese is also one of "grace and new possibilities," Archbishop Blair suggested, "If a new parish with a new name comes together with everyone as equals-no winners and losers-then new energy, creativity and growth is possible."

We are grateful to our local shepherd for the gift of our two co-chaplains, Father Gary Simeone and Father Hector Rangel-Guerrera.

UPDATE: St. Paul Catholic High School
50th Anniversary Capital Campaign

Thanks to the generosity of the numerous campaign donors (listed here), we are happy to announce that we have already raised over $1.25 million and completed a major portion of our capital campaign projects!

Enhance Classroom Technology - Check
Improve Building Security - Check
Install Metal Bleachers and Light Towers to Stadium Field - Check
Install Air Conditioning in Auditorium - Check

Two Critical Objectives Remain:

1) Replace the 50-year old gymnasium floor and bleachers
2) Establish a meaningful endowment fund,
creating a solid foundation for the next 50 years.

In order to complete the gym renovations next summer (when students are out of the building due to asbestos removal) and significantly enhance our endowment fund, we are tipping off our next phase of the Capital Campaign and calling it "The 4th Quarter Fast Break"!

If you haven't yet contributed to the 50th Anniversary Capital Campaign, we encourage you to do so now. If you have already given, we sincerely thank you and ask you to consider adding to your gift. God bless you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.

This year we are thrilled to be  combining two of our largest fundraising evenings; our annual Auction usually held in May, and our Circle of Honor, usually held in October; into one spectacular event that will celebrate the growth
and vitality of our St. Paul community.

This s
pecial evening will bestow St. Paul's highest honor, our  Circle of Honor  award to two deserving individuals, as well as helping to fund important advancement efforts like classroom technology, academic, athletic and fine arts programs, and financial aid for deserving students by supporting our Auction part of the program.

St. Paul is proud to announce its 2017 Circle of Honor Recipients,
  Sister Sandra Shaw, CSJ
and Mrs. Elaine Lewandoski.

The spirit of St. Paul lives within these individuals and was proudly displayed through their combined 40 plus years of dedicated service in our early years through the late eighty's. Their continued support of our mission, values and dreams for the future truly make them  Forever Falcons and we invite you to join us for this spectacular evening recognizing these outstanding individuals and celebrating St. Paul.

Show your support for this event by considering the following:
  • Showcase your business or family at our event by becoming a sponsor.
  • Place an ad in our evening's program book for your business or to congratulate a Circle of Honor recipient.
  • Donate an item to be auctioned OR gather some friends and join us for this special evening with dinner, dancing, the auction program and much more.
