SPECIAL ALERT - REAL ID PUBLIC TESTIMONY

Have you heard about REAL ID cards? Starting June 6, 2017 Alaskans will need a REAL ID or passport to enter a military base. Starting January 22, 2018, a REAL ID or passport will also be required to fly domestically.

HB 74 is the Governor's bill to address compliance with the federal REAL ID requirements. Public testimony on HB74 (REAL ID) is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 25th, starting at 4:30pm. 

HOW TO TESTIFY:

1) Head to the Anchorage LIO (1500 W. Benson Blvd) by 4pm - arrive 30 min. early for sign-in process

2) Go to the 2nd floor and let LIO staff know you'd like to testify on HB74
