- The Library is running FOOD FOR FINES to benefit the Tewksbury Food Pantry this SEPTEMBER.  For every non-perishable food item donated at TPL, staff will waive $2 in fines. (Not valid towards lost items.) 

- The Tewksbury September 11th Committee holds its annual ceremony on Thurs., 9/11 at 7pm, at the memorial next to the library.  The library is not holding a program that evening and encourages the public to attend this important ceremony.

- The Tewksbury Community of Artists present monthly exhibits in the Fairgrieve Wing - "The Glory of Fall" (9/9 to 10/14) and "Art and Poetry" (10/14 to 11/12).

- The Tewksbury Historical Society offers public drop-in hours in the Local History Room every other Tuesday afternoon (9/9, 9/23, 10/14, 10/28, 11/25), from 1pm to 5pm.

- The Friends of the Library's Friendly Little Book Shop is open every Saturday (10am-1pm) and Wednesday (4:30pm-7pm) this fall, when the library is open. Hardcovers: $1.25. Paperbacks: $0.50-$1.

- The Friends of the Library is running a 50/50 Raffle from 9/2 to 11/22.  Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the library's Front Desk or Book Shop.

- The Friends of the Library is holding its annual "Portraits in Silhouette" fundraiser with artist Jean Comerford on Fri., 11/14 and Sat., 11/15. Watch for more details soon.

- Look for the Friends of the Library at the Tewksbury Harvest Fest on Sat., 9/14, 11am-5pm, at Livingston Park, and the Tewksbury AppleFest on Saturday, October 25, 9am-3pm, at Tewksbury High.
