As we mentioned in Friday's Email Update, CMC has announced three new versions of their extremely popular 1/18 scale Mercedes-Benz W196R Streamliner. The trio represents the Mercedes factory entry at the 1954 French Grand Prix on the high speed country road circuit at Reims.

 In addition to the winning #18 car of Juan Manuel Fangio, CMC will also model the second place finishing #20 of Karl Kling and the car #22 of Hans Herrmann. Each will be done in Limited Editions of 1000. Production has already begun, as you can see by the photo below.

A Fall 2014 release is planned.

The Mercedes W196R Streamliner is one of CMC's most popular models, so advance orders for these Limited Editions (especially the winning Fangio car) are strongly recommended. You can reserve your model(s) below;

A large shipment of primarily 1/18 scale models from TSM and Spark (including the 1/18 Spirit of LeMans Corvette) is expected to arrive later this month. You can reserve any item from that list HERE.

We're still gathering information on the latest items for 'Future Release' from Spark and Bizarre. I'll have that to you hopefully by mid-week.

Talk to you soon.
