Welcome to the New SPI Sites!
We are pleased to welcome six new Smart Policing Initiative sites to our community: Atlanta, GA; Detroit, MI; Kansas City, MO; Lowell, MA; Madison, WI; and Sacramento County, CA.  Look for more information about these sites' targeted problems and strategies in the SPI Fall 2016 Quarterly Newsletter.
In Case You Missed It... SPI & the 6th Global Police Tweet-a-thon!
SPI joined up with police agencies, training and technical assistance providers, law enforcement professionals, and the community to participated in the 6th Global Police Tweet-a-thon on September 30, 2016, using hashtag #PolTwt.

We sent out over 25 tweets during the events, highlighting collaboration principles and strategies learned from our SPI Collaboration workshops earlier this year. We received over 20,000 impressions (aka views) of our tweets during the event!

We look forward to participating in the 7th Global Police Tweet-a-thon!  More information about these events can be found on the #PolTwt website. Additionally, SPI is committed to helping police agencies apply collaboration principles in practice, and will introduce a number of products in the next six months in this regard.
