FROM OUR PASTOR

Dear  ,

I hope you are getting some rest and some good family time this summer.  Leisure is part of God's plans fo us human beings.  Every day our body tells us to rest for 7 hours (or so) and every week God tells us to rest for 24 hours (Sunday).

Please make efforts to attend Mass on your vacation.  It's an important witness for your children.  And it's also a way of thanking God for your vacation!  Check masstimes.org to find a local Catholic church.

We look forward to our Family Vacation Bible School, August 1-5.  We have an adult track and a youth track, covering parallel topics.  It will develop the theme:  "Jesus makes life better!"  We will discuss how this is true.  He gives us guidance, power, courage, hope, and love (which encourages us).

This is the best chance you will have all year to read the Bible and engage it as an adult.  The adult track is 4 short days.  If you bring yourself, we'll bring the Bibles and the Dunkin' Donuts!

In Christ,
Fr. DeAscanis
