It's Fun To Stay At The....
Students sticking around Minnesota over the summer can become members at the YMCA...FOR FREE! High schoolers get access to the gyms, pools, fitness center, and more, all for free!

Interested? Visit your local YMCA from June 1-12 to fill out an application. Click here for more information.
Get Some Burritos...Again!

SPP is partnering with Chipotle in downtown St. Paul for another fundraising event on Tuesday, June 6! Half the cost of your meal will be donated to SPP by anyone who brings in a flyer or mentions SPP between 10:45am-5:00pm.

The money donated will be used to support a group of students traveling to China this summer.

This three-week trip from June 24-July 15 will take students to the cities of Shanghai, Beijing, Wuzhen, and Hangzhou. While in China, students will take some classes in Mandarin, Calligraphy and Chinese culture.

SPP has teamed up with Mao FuPing, one of our Chinese Foreign Partners, for arranging accommodations, travel within China, schools to offer classes, and visits to museums and cultural sites during the trip.
The Wheels On The Bus....
Metro Transit is offering a Summer Student Bus Pass for $25! From June 1 through Sept. 5, students can get unlimited rides on buses and trains up to a $3 fare (for fares higher than that amount, like some Northstar trips, just add stored value to your pass). Passes can be used between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily.

The pass is available to students enrolled at a participating school (one per student). To purchase a pass, you must provide your school's name and your student ID number (see Ms. Ginger for your ID #). Graduating seniors may purchase a Summer Student Pass if they were enrolled in a participating school in 2017. Participating students must agree to Metro Transit's Code of Conduct. You may purchase these passes online at Metro Transit or at any Metro Transit store. Sales begin May 17. See Ms. Ginger with questions.
'Cuz I've Had The Time Of My Life...
The SPP Yearbook Staff has been working hard over the last few months to get the publication all ready to go, and for the second year in a row, their dedication has paid off.

The staff earned the Jostens Program of Excellence Award for the 2016-17 school year. We can't wait to see it! Way to go Yearbook Staff!!!
Celebrate Good Times...
Where did the year go?! Graduation is coming down the pipe, and we'll hold our ceremony at the St. Paul College Theater from 6-8pm on June 9. 56 seniors from SPP will receive their diploma. Come join in celebrating our amazing students as they set out to change the world!
It's Raining On Prom Night...
Prom is right around the corner! This year's theme is "Under the Stars", and will take place at the Wabasha Street Caves on June 3! Tickets are available now!
Leavin' On A Jet Plane...
Are your students returning to SPP this fall? Do they have items they don't want to bring back to their home country? Store them at SPP!

For a fee, SPP will securely store clothes, shoes, etc., for the summer so students don't have to haul items back and forth between countries!

We charge $50 for a backpack, small box, or small duffel bag, and $75 for a suitcase, large box, or large duffel bag. Bags and boxes must be completely closed (not overstuffed), and no loose items are allowed. No food or flammable/hazardous materials will be accepted.

NOTE: Students must collect the item no later than the first day of school (Tuesday, Sept. 5). Students will be charged $25 a day each day an item is not picked up, until Sept. 8, when the item will be donated. NO EXCEPTIONS!

If interested, complete a summer storage form and pay the applicable fee with Ms. Ginger at the SPP front desk.
